RENOVATION NEWS!
Because we couldn’t possibly take three months away from work to star on The Block, we’ve decided to bring a little Block energy to Woodfields…

We’re so excited to announce our Office is finally getting the makeover it deserves to match the outside!

And it wouldn’t be The Block without a little drama…. That’s right, Matt (aka the husband) has officially reached the stage of questioning the colour choice.

A bold move.

Because one should never question their wife’s choices… particularly when husband was clearly one of them. 😂

So, for now:

Colour palette: CLASSIFIED. 🤫
Husband’s approval: Not required.

Wife’s vision: Approved.
Husband’s fate: Sealed. 🖤

Stay tuned…

It's Fri-yay!

Still with stars in our eyes, we're throwing back to just a few Fridays ago when we left the hi-vis at home & headed to the Qld Training Awards for some hobnobbing! 🤩🤩🤩

WORLD SKILLS. BIG EFFORT. EVEN BIGGER BRAGGING RIGHTS!

Our apprentice Bryce recently put his machining skills to the test, competing in the WorldSkills Australia competition for Machining, and we couldn’t be prouder!

After going head-to-head with some seriously talented young machinists, Bryce finished 3rd overall in the region and an impressive 1st in Townsville!

By our standards, Bryce has been a machining rockstar from day one, so it was fantastic to see those skills recognised when TAFE Queensland selected him to compete.

Competitions like WorldSkills are a great opportunity for apprentices to put their skills under pressure and see just how far their trade can take them.

Well done Bryce, you’ve done Woodfields proud!

We attended the Qld Training Awards regional final on Friday, where our business was nominated for Small Employer of the Year. Although not winners on the day, to be in the top 3 for the region was a proud achievement. A humbling experience to share the room with such outstanding businesses and individuals dedicated to training and skills in Queensland.
