Withers takes out Australian Lightning Sprint title.

Chassis73 - Henchcraft Australia would like congratulate Scott Withers on winning the 2025/26 Australian Lightning sprint title at Gladstone Speedway on Saturday night. Scott put on a great performance for the entire race meeting, from heat one on Withers showed he was the car to beat. After the heat races were completed Scott was top scorer and started the 25 lap feature race from pole position. Withers lead from the drop of the green flag and produced a dominant performance leading all 25 laps to take his second Australian title. A massive shout out to the entire Withers team who made the 15 hour journey to compete in the event, the professional approach this team shows is second to none and the way they adapted to a track they had never raced before was super impressive. Congratulations Team Withers on a job well done and we can not thankyou enough for your support of the Chassis73 - Henchcraft Australia brand.

Also a massive pat on the back and congratulations goes to Darren Baldwin in finishing in third place to round out the podium. Darren was fast all night in his Henchcraft and produced some awesome racing. Well done mate great drive.

A huge shout out to all the Henchcraft teams that raced on Saturday night, it was another great showing for the Chassis73 - Henchcraft Australia brand taking three of the first four and six out of the top ten finishing positions. Well done to everyone and again we thankyou all for your support.

Fanning outstanding in Queensland Title success.

Congratulations to Dave Fanning on taking out the Queensland Lightning Sprint Title at Toowoomba Speedway on Saturday night. Piloting the Darren Baldwin owned Henchcraft Q89, Fanning lead from the drop of the green flag in the non stop 25 laps feature race. Fanning put on a masterful display of Lightning Sprint racing with little to no error for the entire race. Well done Dave, a class act and one of the best racers we have ever seen in a Lightning Sprint.
Congratulations also goes out to Nic Whell coming home 3rd in the Jason Iacono owned Henchcraft Q21, the Toowoomba Sprint car driver adapted quite nicely to the lightning sprint, Good on ya Nico.

Well that wraps up another racing season for the Lightning Sprints in Australia. We again would like to congratulate all our winners this season, well done and thankyou to all for another hugely successful and dominant season for the Chassis73/Henchcraft Australia brand.

We would also like to thank very much all our valued customers for their continued support this season and hope you enjoyed your racing season. We look forward to the coming 2026/27 season.

Withers dominates at Sydney Speedway.

Congratulations to Scott Withers on his feature race win at Sydney Speedway on Saturday night. Withers was super fast in his dominate performance in the NSW Lightning Sprints final round of the season. Leading from start to finish, Withers put on a superb display of Lightning sprint racing and was never headed. Well done mate great drive.

Also to Shane Eberhart who had himself a nice heat race win and solid feature race moving forward to finish 5th and to Layne Stace who also had a good finish to the season with a top ten in the feature race. Well done Gents.

And a huge shout out to young Maddie Brook taking out the Rookie of the night honours and a top ten finish in the feature race. Great stuff Maddie awesome job.

He finally got it done, great effort and a huge congratulations to Scott Chippy Moir on his maiden Lightning Sprints feature race win in his Henchcraft Lightning sprint at Goulburn Speedway last night. Good on ya Chippy well done bloke👍

Pretty awesome Monday night for Chassis73 - Henchcraft Australia with our new Phoenix V1 Lightning sprint getting its first feature race win at the mighty Kingaroy Speedway with the Qld Lightning Sprints running of the Silver Cup. With the twin feature setup we were able to take the spoils in feature No.1, starting out of 4th we got the jump around the outside for the lead and came away with the chequered flag. Feature No.2 didn't quite get the setup right but was still happy to bring it home 3rd.
Damn proud of our team here at Chassis73 - Henchcraft Australia, from the challenges put to us over the last few years to where we are now with our Australian built Phoenix V1 Lightning sprint and Chassis73 Race Components.

Baldwin takes out Silver Cup win.
With the holiday season in full swing the Qld Lightning sprints headed up to the mighty Kingaroy Speedway on Monday the 29th for the running of the annual QLSRA Lightning sprint Silver Cup. With the traditional twin feature setup plus two heat races it was a busy night for the racers and teams.
After two heat races and a solid third in the first feature, Baldwin started out of 2nd in feature race No.2 and at the green Baldwin made it count with a swift move to take the lead and from there was never headed, with a structured race performance on his home track Baldwin in his Q89 Henchcraft took all the chocolates and the Silver Cup win. Darren has been in some really good form this season and thoroughly deserved the blue ribbon spoils. Congrats to Darren and team on another awesome win.

Kevin Ottey's awesome looking Henchcraft is ready for its debut on Saturday with the NSW Lightning sprints. Can't wait to see this super nice ride on track and we wish Kevin the very best of luck in the season ahead.

An awesome start to the season for the Darren Baldwin race team making it three from three after the weekend in the Qld Lightning Sprints. Having raced the last two weekends at Kingaroy and Toowoomba, Saturday 11th October saw Dave Fanning take out his second feature race win in a row. Aboard the Baldwin owned Henchcraft, Fanning dominated proceedings from the opening heat race and after a great mid race battle with Josh Gale grabbed the feature race win at the mighty Kingaroy Speedway.
Saturday 18th October and the Lightning sprints ventured to the high banks at Toowoomba Speedway. Reigning QLSRA Club Champion Darren Baldwin piloted the Q89 Henchcraft to victory lane with a fantastic drive in the feature race. Battling extremely high winds and a juiced up race track Baldwin showed good poise and quality race craft to take the win.
Congratulations to Dave & Darren on their feature race wins, well done Gents👍
