💧 WHAT IS SHOT WEIGHT — AND WHY DOES IT MATTER?

Simply put, shot weight is the amount of polyethylene used to manufacture your water tank.

👉 More poly = thicker walls = a stronger, longer-lasting tank.

At Duraplas, we don’t just focus on thickness at the base. Our tank rotation process spreads the polyethylene powder throughout the entire tank, helping provide strength where it matters — including the roof.

Every tank is carefully manufactured and thickness-tested to ensure it meets our standards.

So when comparing water tanks, don’t just compare litres and price — ask about the shot weight too.

✅ Engineered tank designs
✅ Heavy-duty shot weights
✅ Built for Australian conditions
✅ Backed by a 20-year warranty

Not all tanks are created equal. Compare apples with apples.
