Established in 1967 by Ken McIlveen who was a well known Auto Repairer and a tournament water skier winning a lot of events through the 60,s. During this time Ken was asked by Evinrude Outboard Motors to sell their motors which Ken took on as a hobby but over the years grow into the main part of the business with Gaven and Warren joining Ken in 1974 and 1980 and from many years of water skiing wit

h the family and their knowledge of motors they put together a boat to go ski racing and were soon winning and setting records. Ken was now going fishing more than skiing Gaven and Warren kept skiing this combination made a very good team, which reflected on the business growing to one of the larges marine dealers in country NSW. Now as Mac’s Marine Gaven and Warren are continuing to build the business with a large range of STACER family fishing, ski boats and all marine electronics (Fishfinders, Radios, GPS’s) a expanding chandlery products range, a full range of water skies to suit every skier from the beginner to the advance, an extensive range of wake boards, knee boards, inflatable to put behind any boat, a full range of wet suits, ski vest, boating vests and children’s vests, a complete range of ski ropes and Handles. The business started from an auto service and repair shop and now is the only authorised STACER ,MERCURY dealers in the Tamworth area with full workshop equipment and genuine parts. Awarded 2005 NSW STACER DEALER OF THE YEAR and in 2008-09 season.
