At Apollo, we’re proud to sponsor Maverick Kemenyvary, one of our second year apprentices, in his Legend Cars racing journey. Racing takes a huge amount of commitment, not just from Maverick, but from the people around him as well. The long distances travelled to compete and the support his parents give to help him pursue his dream show just how much dedication goes into every race meeting. Maverick’s drive, determination and willingness to put in the effort are qualities we admire, both in the workshop and on the track. We’re proud to get behind him and support him in his endeavours, and we can’t wait to see where the journey takes him.

Celebrating Commitment, Loyalty & Manufacturing Excellence

This morning at our toolbox meeting, we had the privilege of recognising two outstanding team members.

👏 Greg O’Brien – 25 Years
👏 Scott Smith – 15 Years

Milestones like this don’t just happen. They represent decades of skill, dedication, problem-solving, early starts, late finishes, and a commitment to doing things properly.

Greg and Scott have played a significant role in helping grow Apollo Engineering from a regional manufacturer into a globally exporting business. Their experience and work ethic have helped shape the culture we’re proud of today.

When we talk about innovation, quality, and continuous improvement — it’s our people who make it real.

A Great Team Builds a Great Company

Recently, Apollo Engineering was honoured to receive Manufacturer of the Year (50+ Employees) at the 2024 Hunter Manufacturing Awards.

That award belongs to our entire team.

It reflects the skillset, collaboration, and mindset of people who challenge the norm, strive for efficiencies, and take pride in delivering world-class manufacturing right here in regional NSW.

From advanced robotic welding systems to patented filtration technology and sustainable solutions like BioFeed — our growth has always been powered by our people.

Today we say thank you.

To Greg.
To Scott.
And to every member of the Apollo team helping us lead the charge in Australian manufacturing.

Here’s to many more years ahead.

Meet the New EziBlast – High-Pressure Manual Parts Cleaning

Apollo Engineering has released a major update to manual parts cleaning — the EziBlast, a high-pressure, water-based manual parts washer designed for serious workshops. If your team is still relying on open solvent sinks, this is the upgrade that changes everything.

✅ High-Pressure Cleaning Power
Inside the enclosed cabinet, operators can target every corner and crevice using a controlled high-pressure wash gun. Oil and grease break down fast using Apollo EziWash detergent, which is safe on aluminium and tough on contamination.Learn about the EziBlast

✅ Safer and Cleaner for Workshops
Because the EziBlast is fully enclosed, all cleaning action stays inside the cabinet where it’s contained. Technicians stay protected, visibility is excellent, and the workshop remains clean.Clean and Dry — Without Removing the Part
The EziBlast includes an in-built air dryer so operators can wash and dry components inside the cabinet. Parts come out clean, dry and ready for immediate use — no extra handling, no mess.

✅ Built for Engine Reconditioning & Heavy Workloads
EziBlast delivers high-pressure, water-based cleaning designed specifically for engine rebuilders, fleets and industrial workshops. It gives technicians reliable, repeatable results without solvents, scrubbing or downtime.

Apollo Engineering named finalist for Manufacturer of the Year — Australia wide

We are incredibly proud to announce that Apollo Engineering has been named a finalist for Manufacturer of the Year at the inaugural Australian Manufacturing Awards.

This is one of the highest honours in our industry, a designation reserved for the "cream of the crop" in Australian manufacturing.

As the Minister for Industry and Science has stated, these awards are a signal of "our shared confidence in Australia's manufacturing future." We are honoured to be recognised as a key part of that national ambition and the drive towards a "Future Made in Australia."

This nomination is the result of a rigorous, independent judging process managed by the University of Technology Sydney (UTS), and we are humbled to be considered among the nation's leading manufacturers.

Our thanks go to Industry Update Media P/L for establishing this important platform to recognise Australian manufacturing, and congratulations to our fellow finalists.

We look forward to the awards evening in Sydney on October 23rd and to celebrating the strength and future of Australian manufacturing together.

We are happy to announce that Apollo Engineering has been named a finalist in three categories for the 2025 Hunter Manufacturing Awards:

• Excellence in Manufacturing Capability

• Manufacturer of the Year (50+ employees)

This recognition reinforces our core commitment: strengthening Australia’s national capability. We believe that a robust local supply chain is essential, and that regional New South Wales is a powerhouse driving that strength.

This achievement is a direct result of the dedication and skill of our entire team.

Thank you to the Hunter Manufacturing Awards Inc. for this honour, and congratulations to all fellow finalists.

Welcoming the Next Generation of Engineers in Regional NSW

Congratulations to the first group of Tamworth students who have completed the Engineering Skills (Machining) program. This initiative provides a direct link between education and industry, giving young people in our region the chance to explore a rewarding career in fitting and machining.

On Wednesday 24 September, our Managing Director, David Errington, visited TAFE NSW Tamworth to present certificates to the students. Their commitment and interest in the trade is impressive.

The next step begins on 16 October, when the students will join us at Apollo Engineering for practical, hands-on experience. This will give them real insight into life as a Fitter and Machinist, working alongside our team on genuine industry projects.

We’d like to thank our partners, TAFE NSW and the Regional Industry Education Pathways (RIEP) program, for helping to strengthen career opportunities in regional NSW and build a skilled workforce for the future of manufacturing.
