ABC Launches Industry-First PIN 2 EBS Training Program in Partnership with ZF/WABCO.
ABC is proud to announce the successful launch of its authorised PIN 2 Electronic Braking System (EBS) training program, developed in conjunction with ZF Group.
The first training courses were recently delivered at Krueger transport Equipment, marking the beginning of a new initiative designed to improve EBS knowledge and diagnostic capability throughout the Australian transport industry.
The concept originated from ABC's sales and technical teams, who identified a growing need for manufacturers, fleets and workshop personnel to gain a better understanding of modern electronic braking systems. While demand for training continued to increase, traditional training schedules often proved difficult for busy workshops and operational staff to attend.
Recognising this challenge, ABC approached ZF/WABCO with an innovative solution.
With qualified PIN 1 trainers strategically located throughout Australia, ABC proposed utilising its existing technical expertise to deliver PIN 2 certification training directly to customers. The result is a more accessible and flexible training model that brings high-quality EBS education closer to the people who need it most.
The program provides participants with a greater understanding of EBS operation, diagnostics and fault-finding, helping workshops and fleets improve maintenance outcomes while enhancing vehicle safety and compliance.
Combined with ABC's online diagnostic support platform, customers now have access to both formal training and ongoing technical assistance whenever required.
"Our objective is simple - make industry-leading EBS training more accessible and help workshops, fleets and manufacturers build confidence when working with increasingly sophisticated braking systems."
This initiative reflects ABC's ongoing commitment to supporting the transport industry through technical expertise, innovation and safety-focused solutions.
