A beautiful spring day here in Sydney, and Jason is restocking the service car after last night’s job.

A big part of being a coffee machine technician happens before you arrive on site. Knowing what parts you have, keeping the car well stocked and being prepared can make all the difference in getting a customer’s machine back up and running efficiently.

A good report from the customer or barista is also incredibly helpful. Sharing notes, photos or videos of what the machine is doing before the technician arrives can help with troubleshooting, identifying possible parts needed and sometimes avoiding a return trip.

Then it is back to the workshop to continue building the 2 x 1 Group espressoDECKs currently on the bench. That is the plan for today!

It is a recessed espresso coffee machine patented in 2007, designed and manufactured by us here in Sydney, Australia, bringing commercial coffee performance into a clean, open coffee bar.

Available in 1, 2 and 3 Group models, each espressoDECK is built in small batches using proven commercial-grade components, with a focus on style, reliability, consistency and serviceability.

Our customers are coffee roasters, franchises, cafés, restaurants, offices and other coffee businesses around the world. And while it is a commercial machine, some serious coffee lovers choose our compact 1 Group for home.

A little throwback to this beautiful installation at Positive Energy Health + Fitness , just over a year ago.

This 2 Group espressoDECK, finished in Antique Brass Electroplating with timber details, was designed to blend seamlessly into the space while keeping the coffee bar open and welcoming.

It is always rewarding to look back at the projects our customers have trusted us to be part of, and even better to see the espressoDECK doing what it was built to do.

A busy week at the workshop.

Two 2 Group espressoDECKs and a 3 Group heading out the door, all for repeat customers. It is always a great feeling when customers come back for another machine, and something we genuinely appreciate.

Meanwhile, a couple of domestic machines are coming in for servicing, and Jason is starting another batch of 1 Group espressoDECK bases from scratch.

Building, servicing, testing and supporting our customers. Just another day doing what we have been doing for 25 years.
