The old saying goes, choose a job you love, and you will never have to work a day in your life". We experience this each and every day.
This morning was a Riviera 4800SY to the harbour and then a Riviera 5400SY back up to Broken Bay all before 1030am. Both boats just glide across the top of the water. Both so comfortable to operate and with a fuel burn between 7-9L/nm the economy is second to none thanks to both vessel being fitted with Volvo Penta diesel engines and IPS. How well are your Volvo Penta drivelines being looked after? With every annual service of your vessel it’s critical your Volvo Penta driveline EVC system is checked and updated with the latest available software to ensure your systems are running flawlessly. These two IPS950 saw a complete annual service as per Volvo Penta’s scheduled service protocols which includes connection of the Vodia diagnostic computer to download and update all driveline ECUs at no extra cost. Hydraulic overhauls, no problem. From diagnosing the original hydraulic failure due to overheating to flushing of the vessels hydraulic system to remove metal debris, new custom hydraulic plumbing and adaptation of a Danfoss PVM pump to handle more power for longer. We had the shaft coupling machined to suit the installation as well as a cooling, turbocharger and exhaust system overhaul of the main engine. We also fixed multiple oil leaks and install a Parker crankcase ventilation system to allow for better engine performance and crank case pressure handling. We finished it off with an engine detail and paint. Lots of tedious work but the result was very pleasing. Thanks to for their expert machining skills that never disappoint. This Selene 56 is ready to go anywhere anytime reliably with the clients confidence restored in their vessel. Francis Marine

Triple diagonal planking and shaft log rot replacement repair. We set up pre-alignment measures to make for a speedy repair prior to repower to this timber vessel with John Deere 6068AFM85 engines. Thanks to with the partnership in returning this commercial custom Griffin back to the sea to fish another day. Francis Marine

Hull sand blast to strip years of antifoul coating build up off Rampage before application of high build and bond coat primers. Then hard antifoul coating and finishing with three coats of self ablative antifoul. The finish will ensure long lasting antifoul coatings that will increase vessel fuel economy, performance and inhibit marine growth for longer periods of time.
The hull gleam and shine is thanks to Sevenseasmarine_boatdetailing. Their finishes stay bright and shiny while protecting the hull gelcoat in the harshest marine conditions. Rampage also had her running gear stripped, balanced and refitted by the Francis Marine team.
She also had the latest sonar equipment fitted, the MAQ minimac Omni sonar. Professionally fitted by master shipwright from .
With the marlin season soon approaching the boys of Rampage will fine tune the new sonar tech to see themselves at the top of the game fishing table. Good luck guys and thank you for entrusting us with your vessel needs.

This one was the toughest and tightest installation of this very robust Volvo Penta D1-30 inboard engine. This little beauty has a 115amp alternator for those yachts that demand higher charging capacities in a smaller package. This Selene 54 is exceptional, Following our extensive servicing of its main, gen & wing engine and overhaul of its hydraulic stabiliser/thruster systems, she is now ready for her maiden voyage up north.
Her owners are under the beautiful sun of Akuna bay this afternoon and over the moon with this clear night.
