What happens when a proven product is reimagined?
Our Combipad served as the starting point, with all its proven technology, robustness, and functionality.

The task: to translate these strengths into a completely new, rounded design.
At the same time, the goal was to create a retrofit solution that would allow existing mechanical locks with 16×19mm mounting holes to be replaced quickly and easily.

From the first hand-drawn sketch through precise CAD design to the physical prototype, every phase serves a purpose.
Materials, feel, and functions are tested under real-world conditions and refined until all components work together perfectly. Only then does the product go into production at our facility in Hagen (Germany). Finally, the numbers are laser-etched into the keys and the product is branded with our BURG logo.
The result? A product that fully retains the strengths of the Combipad in a completely new design - THE BURG MAXIVO
