Hot off the... Smoker!?

Our final instalment of event win prizes comes from our friends at , a popular place amongst a lot of the NSW Athletes (we've noted you following them on IG)

BlackBear have been whipping up some of the most mouthwatering briskets and wood fired meats in their well equipped smoker located at 48 93-97 Newton Road Wetherill Park,
What started as a passion for barbecuing and offering amazing meats at the festivals in Sydney turned into 4 locations you can visit whenever you like!
BlackBears menu consists of locally sourced produce smoked in the traditional low'n'slow method over ironbark for 15 hours, we love it when the locals support the locals and are so excited to be presenting you with this amazing prize.

Winning NSW strongest man U90 2022 is my most exciting achievement so fa. It was a brutal comp and definitely unexpected.

I love the huge range of equipment that PTC has as well as all the experienced athletes to learn from.

My tips for people wanting to get into strength training is to take your time and ask lots of questions of experienced lifters

❓️Most exciting moment on your strength journey

The most exciting achievement I have made on my strength journey has been entirely mental. My mental health journey has been a rollercoaster and the gym and family I've found there have been by far the biggest part of getting myself healthy again.

❓️What do you love about training at PTC?

PTC is incredible, Mick always goes above and beyond to help out with tips and tricks on lifts and the whole crew there are such a vibe. We'll all be cheering each other on and pushing for us to be the best version of ourselves.

❓️ Show us your tips for newcomers.

My number one tip would be to try it out! If you're following anyone on socials that's in strength sports, reach out to them and chat about it. We all love watching our sport grow and everyone I know will happily invite you along for a training sesh.
