Our Story

We strive for industry bests and industry firsts. We are recognised as leaders in our brands. We are a current member of Toyota Australia’s Top Twenty Club for volume dealers. We are recognised as a Toyota Five Star Guest Experience Dealership for both Sales and Service. In 2015 we received the Silver Excellence Award Excellence for Brand and Guest Experience and the Bronze Excellence Awards for Parts. We are presently a Hyundai Platinum Dealer of the Year, having achieved this status now for 3 consecutive years between our two Hyundai locations. Many of our team are individual award winners, recognised for their personal achievements by both Toyota and Hyundai.

At PGMG we value creativity and innovation. We are proud of our many industry leading innovations such as our Accident Assist program, our Sales Trainee program, “Test on your Turf” and our Phil’s Car Care Clinic and Hybrid awareness nights. We encourage and support our staff to be innovative but also to be obsessed with finding a better way to do everyday tasks.

We employ over 200 staff and contractors. Our staff were born in over 30 countries around the world. Our diversity of culture reflects our local area and ensures that we are equipped to be easy to do business with, providing a multitude of languages and a wealth of cultural sensitivity and understanding.

We are committed to developing our staff to be the best in the motor industry. Our Senior management team are all graduates of the Disney Institute, committed to our guests and to innovation. We have a strong training and development focus and several staff presently completing industry focussed courses at Degree, Advanced Diploma, Certificate IV and Certificate III level. We also have a market leading in house sales trainee program.
