It is not just about fabrication — it is also about how the work is handled, packed, and delivered.

These custom aluminium window shrouds have been fabricated, powder coated, protected, packed, and loaded with care so they arrive ready for site in the right condition.

Custom stainless steel kitchen benchtops fabricated and installed by A Class Metals.

These benchtops were made from 5mm stainless steel plate and meticulously oil polished to achieve our well-known vortex matt finish.

This finish gives the stainless steel a refined, non-directional appearance that works particularly well in residential kitchens, while still delivering the durability and practicality stainless steel is known for.

This installation also shows how custom stainless steel can be made to suit older character spaces just as well as modern interiors, with clean site-specific fitting around stone walls, windows, cabinetry, and sink locations.

Custom aluminium awning fabricated by A Class Metals.

This project involved a custom aluminium awning in an S-shaped curved profile, fabricated from 10mm aluminium and made in 3 sections for practical transport and installation.

The awning details included:

460mm deep
approximately 8 lineal metres
100mm high fixing fl**ge
countersunk fixing holes to suit 14G bugle fixings
fish plates for joining the sections
designed for easy installation by the builder on site

This video shows the process from template layout, through fabrication in raw aluminium, and then the completed sections powder coated in Charisma Flat White (90C1200F).

Custom aluminium privacy screens fabricated and installed by A Class Metals.

This project features custom aluminium privacy screens fabricated from 40x25mm battens with a 50x5mm subframe and welded, sanded ends for a clean finished appearance.

The screens were fabricated to suit the project dimensions, including:

3470mm wide x 1900mm high
curved top section 1050mm wide x 2165mm high

For finishing, the aluminium was chemically pretreated with ChromeKote® and top coated in Duratec Zeus White, giving a durable architectural finish to suit the space.

The result is a screen system that provides privacy, maintains light and openness, and integrates neatly with the surrounding balcony and exterior design.

The installation featured:

40mm edge
