Are Your Pallet Racking Load Signs Compliant?

Load signs might seem like a small detail—but in warehouse safety, they’re a critical requirement.

Under Australian Standard AS4084-2023, every racking installation must have clearly visible load signs that detail:
✔️ Maximum unit load
✔️ Maximum bay load
✔️ Beam configuration
✔️ Manufacturer and installer details

Missing, faded, or incorrect signage not only creates confusion—it puts your team at risk and may lead to serious compliance issues.

⚠️ No load sign = non-compliant racking.

At a glance, load signs help your staff:
✅ Understand load limits
✅ Avoid overloading
✅ Maintain safety across all shifts

As part of our professional racking inspections, we check your load signage for accuracy, clarity, and compliance—so you can focus on operations, not legal risks.

Need new or updated load signs? We can help!

Thank you to Greg Chesler and Kevin Jacobson Jacobs and the rest of the team at QCC Hospitality Supplies

Great feeling to have their trust & reliance on our team to execute both DCs with precision. Moving sites and still being operational, time does not allow for flexibility and thus it’s of utmost importance that installation is completed on time.

Mid 2023, QCC moved from Rockley to their new greenfield QLD based distribution hub at Wacol, increasing their storage capacity by more than double

This year, they tripled their storage capacity by moving from Banksmeadow to state of the art, Goodman carbon neutral development site at Botany. With their reputation nationally, extensive product range, these sites will enable them to continue to service their current and growing customer base.
