Exciting research update from EXODUS Bio!

A collaborative team led by Prof. Jian Ye from Shanghai Jiao Tong University and Prof. Jiahua Pan from Ren Ji Hospital, School of
Medicine, Shanghai Jiao Tong University has published groundbreaking work in ACS Sensors (IF=9.1).
https://pubs.acs.org/doi/10.1021/acssensors.5c03331

Leveraging EXODUS technology, the team achieved exosome isolation from 20 μL prostatic fluid in only 20 minutes — 9× higher efficiency than conventional ultracentrifugation (UC).
They further established a non-invasive prostate cancer diagnostic model with an outstanding AUC of 0.93, offering a new solution to reduce overdiagnosis and unnecessary biopsies.

A big step forward for rapid, low-volume liquid biopsy applications! 🎉

Prostate cancer (PCa) remains a major global health burden, yet current screening tools often lead to overdiagnosis due to low specificity, highlighting the urgent need for more precise diagnostic approaches. Prostatic fluid (PSF) represents a promising but underexplored biofluid with exceptional di...

ATA Scientific will be attending (Australasian Colloid and Interface Symposium), hosted at the Stamford Grand Hotel in Adelaide, from 1-4 February 2026. This meeting brings together colloid, surface/interface and materials scientists to share research findings in a range of applications from food science and pharmaceutical formulations to personal care products, advanced biomaterials, paint technologies, and mineral processing.
👉 Visit our trade table and see live demonstrations.
BPT Mobile Bubble Pressure Tensiometer (https://lnkd.in/gDuMjvKG) provides a one-click check of the surfactant content in baths and monitors surface tension changes while dosing. KRUSS Tensíío (https://lnkd.in/gs276tiY) is a modular tensiometer that enables the analysis of surface and interfacial tension, wettability and many other properties of solids and liquids. Zetasizer Ultra (https://lnkd.in/gPxpP2h3), the most advanced light scattering system, delivers particle and molecular size, particle charge and particle concentration.

ACIS is a fantastic forum for sharing ideas, applications, and advances in imaging, analysis, and characterisation — and we’re excited to be part of the conversation.
If you’re heading along, be sure to say hello and chat with the team.

CONGRATULATIONS TO OUR 3 WINNERS!
Ernest Rutherford, the New Zealand physicist and Nobel Prize winner, once remarked: “We have not got the money, so we have to think.”
Our latest competition asked students how they would personally respond if funding for their project were drastically reduced, to the point where their research could no longer continue as planned. Is their research work too important to abandon?

Toby Black https://lnkd.in/gq58n4ya was our first prize winner, receiving $1500. We also awarded 2 runners up at $750 each.
