Oceanic steel is looking for A Boilermaker, sheet metalworker or fabricator welder
Standard 38h week with some weekend work and over time at local shutdowns, above award rate pay
Must have own transport, Trade Certification or welding and fabrication experience
As the tradesman your role will involve but not limited to:
• Interpret drawings.
• Problem solving.
• Cut, fold, weld and process a variety of materials e.g., steel, stainless and aluminium.
• Maintain a safe and healthy working environment.
• Work independently or with another team member productively and efficiently.
• Ensure a high level of quality is produced.

This job started off as a simple question from a client asking if we could make him an offset rotary hoe. He got a new hoe delivered to us to modify into an offset hoe. Using the overhead crane to put it offset behind the tractor to see how far offset the client wanted it. We moved the gearbox over to keep the PTO shaft as straight as possible, extended the housing for the drive shaft and extended the driveshaft add bracing from the quick hitch and across the back of the machine, added a spot to fit john deer counter weights to keep it balanced added a wheel to push down lay flat behind it as it goes all while keeping it bolt able making maintenance easy and lastly painted it as close as we could to the original color

An industrial washing machine in for some well needed TLC, client called us for a price after getting a high price from the manufacture and bad turnaround time. We removed the old frame and load sensors rebuild the frame, cut out the rusted cross beam removed the rust where we could, painted with some rust convertor and some paint to make it last for the life of the machine
