Hey Guys

As most would know a few weeks back I injured my hand and cut off the tendon in my thumb. This means I’m currently able to work post surgery. I’ll be off for around another 5 weeks at this stage. This is going to push me further behind schedule unfortunately. I’m sorry to everyone who has cars booked in but appreciate everyone for being patient in this frustrating time.

Been slack once again on socials. Been absolutely smashed with jobs at the end of last year/ start of this year. First post of many is Ethan’s Vk commodore we’ve had in over the last month for a huge list of work. We had been tasked to complete the following jobs and more.

- boot side and rear infill panels ( boot floor and tubs were done by another shop)
- 100L fuel cell
- spew tank in boot
- fuel hardlines, spew tank lines and transcooler lines
- turbo manifold, hot side pipes to turbos
- custom intercooler and piping
- custom radiator and hoses
- new front plate
- mount straight gates
- mount alternator
- turbo scavenger tanks and pump setup
- 4” dump pipes and side pipes
- front strut bar to cage
-mount clear view filter etc

List goes on and on. Super happy with the end result, keen to see it all finished and at the track 🍻

Second last job out the door for the year today. We had Murray’s Vf commodore production car in for the last couple weeks, we have fabricated a motorsport Australia national spec 6 point roll cage, installed the dry brake fuel filler, drivers side false floor, installed tail shaft loops, extra jack points under the car and done the rear fire wall panels with extra plates that will bolt on over the wiring holes in it. Back to Murray just in time for Xmas so he can get the cage all painted and start getting the car back together over the break 🍻

Last cage of the year done for Lees gc8 Impreza. Lee has shipped his gc8 all the way done from Townsville for an 8 point Motorsport Australia rally cage. Changed it up abit with ladder style intrusion bars and tied through into the front strut towers aswell. This thing is going to be a tank that’s for sure. Thanks again to Lee for trusting us to build his cages!

Zacs 2006 Subaru wrx has been in for a bunch of fab work lately with the fresh motor from Rising Sun Subaru .We have completed the following tasks on the car.

• twist mount turbo kit to suit the g35 turbo and 50mm gate
• 3.5” stainless dump pipe to a 3.5” mild steel exhaust with plumb back gate
•2.5” hot side cooler piping and 2.75” cold side piping
• custom catch can
•custom expansion tank
•mount surge tank and hardlines in boot
• -8 fuel feel through to front of car
• mount oil cooler
•oil cooler lines
•engine bay fuel lines
• mount fuel reg etc
•engine bay coolant lines
•boost controller mount and lines
•turbo feed and drain lines

And the list goes on 🤣

Senad’s R32 GTR in a couple months back for some plumb up work and roll cage. We fabricate some new aluminium intercooler piping, air intake and full 4” stainless exhaust with dump valve to suit the new turbosmart turbo. We also fabricated a bolt in chromoly cage and mounted the parachute handle.

Jacob’s tuff Vl back in this week for a few new additions

-Race products 9” braced housing with 1500 series floater kit, wilwood brakes, 35 spline axles and all new brake lines.

- Remount shocks and anti roll bar

- Custom 100L fuel cell with Shaun’s custom alloy triple pump hanger. Replumb fuel lines to suit

- Rear spew tank for catch can

All done and heading back home. Ready for the next VL on the list to roll in the shop tomorrow 🍻

Hey guys

We will be closed tomorrow and Friday the 4th and 5th of September as we head down with team Chapmans Auto Repairs, Performance Dyno Tuning and Electrical to support Stuart in the Evo X at world Time attack challenge.
