This page is a forum to get to know other members of the club, share photos and arrange social events. The UQ Canoe Club has a range of sea kayaking, canoe polo, white water, flatwater, canoeing, camping, and safety equipment for members to use. You don't need to be a student to join and as a member of the club you can participate in massively discounted trips including local river paddles such as
the Noosa and upper Brisbane rivers, weekends in Moreton Bay, or white water kayaking! Social paddles to places like the West End markets are common and there are plenty of daily paddlers you can tag along with on the river. The UQ Canoe club organises and runs a large number of trips throughout the year. These trips are posted on our website (http://www.uqcanoeclub.net/) and a link is provided on this page. We want to encourage people to get out paddling as much as possible, but please note that only trips organised by club members and posted on the UQCC website can be considered official club trips.
