New collection of Kress Australia machines are on their way to our customer. After a while of discussing the best machines for their business, we want to show you what they’ve chosen.

Note that all machines and batteries have an IPX5 rating for water resistance. Battery runtime varies by machine it’s used on.

KC240, 270, 330 and 510. All will be outlined on their own images. As seen the pole saw and hedgers are taller than the frame.

KC240 and 270 pole hedgers- Our two pole hedgers both feature a 145 degree articulating head, allowing it to reach any position required for jobs. Both feature 55cm blade lengths that run at a maximum speed of 4,000 cuts a minute on high speed mode as selectable on the machines led control panel. Both have a rear impact guard and ergonomic rubber sleeves for easier grip. Both produce 1 kilowatt of power, equivalent to 25ccs in petrol. Both are designed as pruners but have the capability to handle rough cuts due to their dual-action German steel blades and 34mm tooth spacing that allows it to chop through branches up to the width of an adults thumb.

As for why we’re outlining them together… they’re practically identical except for the shaft lengths. The KC240 is the short shaft variant, reaching 31.5 inches for lower hedges while the 270 long shaft has a 43.3 inch shaft for higher cuts. The 240 also features a loop handle as pictured for easier grip and manoeuvring at lower heights.

KC330 polesaw- The tallest item we sell at Sorell mowers and chainsaws (by 5 cm but still), this machine reaches a total 4.05 metres when the telescopic shaft is fully extended. The machine can be shortened to an easier to store 2.85 metres (as pictured, wouldn’t fit in frame if fully extended) and weighs 5.7kg without the battery or cutting gear. Attached oil tank on the gearbox holds 160ml, and is fit with a 10” bar for the best cuts possible. This pole saw meets the same power as a 35cc petrol machine, far outdoing many pole saws on the market.
