With the big move getting underway in the coming week, the APM crew are moving to a Tuesday to Friday - 4-day week! ๐Ÿšจ This will come into effect from the 1st June and will be the new operating hours of Advanced Performance Machining, as we look to optimise shop hours and streamline operations.

This shift will allow us to increase productivity during operational hours and ensure the APM standard is upheld to the highest quality, as our valued clients have come to expect. New operating hours will be 7am-4:30pm.

We will be closed from the 1st June and reopening in the new location on Tuesday, 16th June! ๐Ÿ”ฅ During this time, please be understanding that we may not be as responsive to our messages, emails and phone calls.

The man who started it all ๐Ÿ‘‘

It is often taken for granted the positions we find ourselves in, but there are fewer stark reminders of where it all began than having the founder of APM swinging spanners on race day. It was a privilege to have Steve on the tools at Nitro Champs on the 37 Chev for A Civil Motorsport.

We look forward to having him back again soon!

The key to building the ultimate drag and drive car starts with the heart of the project. Few others compare to this Blown 400ci Holden combination in the making, currently in the shop being machined, assembled and prepared for life as a conqueror of the street and strip.

With no corners cut, this build boasts nothing but the 'best bits' as we aim to push the Holden engine platform to its absolute limits.

With a Billet 308 Holden Block by Bullet Race Engineering, this powerplant will be fitted with a Bryant Billet Crankshaft, Higgins CNC Ported Cylinder Heads, Barnes 4 Stage Dry Sump Pump, Boostline Conrods, a Custom Comp Cams Solid Roller Camshaft, Crower Rocker Arms and Solid Roller Lifters. But how to make it more APM? How about a PSI 1471 High Helix Supercharger strapped to it! ๐ŸŒช๏ธ

This engine will aim to set the new standard for Holden drag and drive combinations, and we are ALL waiting in anticipation to see what it can do on the dyno and out on the track! ๐Ÿ”ฅ

After machining and building this single turbo 5.7l LS, we strapped it to the dyno with 13psi of boost to make sure everything was prepared for the planned 25psi... everything was in fact prepared... making an unexpected 950hp ๐Ÿ˜ถ
