Celebrating World Oceans Day 2026! Protecting our oceans begins upstream at the source in our urban catchments. Stopping the conveyance of stormwater pollution is vital to protecting our shared lakes, rivers, and seas.

We work every day to service our local communities. We design, manufacture, install and maintain generational stormwater infrastructure to capture urban pollution and protect Joy in Water for future generations.

We believe clean waterways are a right, not a privilege - and we reflect on this during World Environment Day 2026. This year's message asks us to secure sustainable outcomes and environmentally resilient communities.

Our stormwater network is vital to creating future-proofed urban spaces. These assets provide many benefits in our urban catchments - mitigating flooding, harvesting stormwater for reuse, capturing pollution, and fostering sustainable development.

Compact, easy to install, and directly accessible for fast and effective maintenance. FlowGuard is an innovative, modular stormwater treatment system that is ideal for applications such as driveways, car parks, roofs and forecourts.

A decentralised approach to tertiary filtration, FlowGuard can be directly deployed or retrofit in 300mm channels, strip drains and pits. Fully compatible with our AtlanChannel system, it is ideal for sites with localised runoff that would otherwise be bypassed.

FlowGuard is a SQIDEP-verified stormwater treatment device with demonstrated pollution removal rates of 88% Total Suspended Solids (TSS), 69% Total Phosphorus (TP), and 67% Total Nitrogen (TN).

Floating Treatment Wetlands are a biomimetic system which mirror their natural floating island counterparts, providing a nature-based solution to improve water quality, provide habitat for local flora and fauna, and beautify our local communities.

Selecting the right plant species is one of the most important decisions in any FTW project. Plant selection criteria integrate treatment performance, ecological suitability, aesthetics, site-specific conditions and maintenance requirements. This process allows consultation with local residents, land managers, ecology consultants, and councils.

Stormwater harvesting, also known as stormwater retention, involves collecting, treating, and storing urban stormwater runoff for reuse applications. This sustainable infrastructure is vital for increasing climate resiliency and reducing water demand.

Capturing stormwater runoff presents opportunities to reduce the conveyance of pollution to our shared rivers, lakes, and seas. This protects Joy in Water for future generations, while also creating generational stormwater infrastructure to secure water supply for our growing cities.

Common applications for stormwater reuse include -
💧Watering gardens
💧Irrigation for parks & sports fields
💧Toilet flushing
💧Vehicle wash bays
💧Cooling towers
💧Firefighting reserve supply

FlowFilter has received our inaugural verification through Canada's Environmental Technology Verification (ETV), which provides independent verification of the pollution removal capabilities of this high-performance tertiary filtration solution.

This device features internal filter cartridges and offers quick installation capabilities due to its modular, lightweight design. A scalable stormwater treatment system, FlowFilter’s variable sizing and cartridge configuration provide design options to meet a wide range of flow rates, pollutant loadings and catchment requirements.

This latest verification follows the device’s existing SQIDEP-verification and TAPE designation. In defined operating conditions, FlowFilter demonstrates the following pollution removal performance -

✅ Total Suspended Solids (TSS): 90% to 98%
✅ Total Phosphorus (TP): 70% to 90%
✅ Total Nitrogen (TN): 40% to 50%
✅ Lead (Pb): 80% to 90%
✅ Zinc (Zn): 40% to 60%

On World Turtle Day, we reflect on these majestic creatures, and the impacts of stormwater pollution on their coastal habitats. Clean waterways are a right, not a privilege!

Urban pollution negatively impacts our waterways and oceans, and it is estimated that 52% of all sea turtles have eaten plastic. Mistaking plastic pollution for food, its ingestion often has fatal consequences on our 🐢 marine friends.

Protecting our oceans is vital to ensuring Joy in Water for future generations. By capturing stormwater pollution before it is conveyed to our rivers, lakes and seas, we reduce the flow of plastic and urban contaminants - maintaining cleaner coastlines and preserving our cherished ecosystems.

Within the World Heritage listed rainforests of Atherton Tablelands, Queensland, the pristine blue waters of Lake Eacham are an exquisite location in Crater Lakes National Park.

A premier snorkelling, canoeing and kayaking destination, the lake's wildlife include native frogs, turtles, lizards and fish. Protecting these environments for future generations is the reason we work every day in our urban catchments to capture pollution at the source.
