PROJECT SHOWCASE - School Fencing
:::::::::::::::: Perforated school fencing made by Arrow Metal is an A+ upgrade for Punchbowl Boys High School, creating a space that inspires and connects.

As a public sector project, all materials for Punchbowl Boys High School’s outdoor upgrade had to meet strict design, budget, and performance criteria. Specifying perforated metal for the school fencing ensured strength, durability, and minimal maintenance with the benefit of customisation to promote the school’s identity.

Working closely with project contractor, we perforated the motto and emblem into 3mm-thick aluminium using PixelPerf, our custom CAD-drawn technology that perfectly replicates images, illustrations, and text in perforated metal.

:::::::::::::::: Sloping School Fencing Challenges
One of the significant challenges of the Punchbowl Boys High School project was the sloping terrain of the school grounds. We custom-fabricated each panel to fit the landscape angles, ensuring the school fencing and its emblem and motto maintained a seamless, straight appearance despite the uneven surface.

PROJECT SHOWCASE - Perforated screens light up Merrylands RSL
::::::::::: Selected for the interior by project construction and fit-out company WP Projects, the panels are perforated in pattern 2319 – one of our latest exclusive architectural designs that features five different hole diameters for a modern mix-and-match effect.

Specified in a U-shape installation in the escalator area to separate the gaming facilities from the rest of the club, our biggest challenge for this project was curving the perforated screens.

Our expert design and manufacturing team were able to successfully bend the panels to create the exact layout WP Projects needed for its cohesive design, without compromising the contemporary pattern.

To finish, each 3mm aluminium panel was powder coated in Shoji White Satin and installed with floor-level lighting. The result is a stunning stand-out architectural feature that exudes elegance and matches the relaxed, luxurious style of the new-look RSL interior.

PROJECT SHOWCASE - Manufacturing Splenda’s perforated apartment façade
:::::::::: The Arrow Metal team perforated a series of 3mm aluminium panels for Splenda’s North and West-facing apartment balconies. These residential levels required strong sun protection and privacy, but without compromising the expansive city views.

Pattern 239 in a 58% open area was the perfect solution for project suppliers Aus Inventive Design. An 8mm round-hole design in a staggered pitch, it’s a modern and classic profile that creates a veiled visual effect, ideal for privacy and shading without affecting resident outlook.

Panels were perforated with margins to ensure a seamless design when the facade is open and closed, with the powder-coated copper-coloured finish added post-manufacture – upgrading the facade panels into a stunning design feature that matches the clean lines and natural aesthetic of the oversized, open-plan apartments within.

NEW PROJECT SHOWCASE - Albert Hall, Launceston, Delivering a Landmark
:::::::::::::: The iconic Albert Hall has reopened following a $20.7M redevelopment, marking a new chapter for one of Tasmania’s most significant heritage venues.

Arrow Metal delivered a bespoke perforated aluminium façade and curved ceiling system, fabricated in our custom P2320 pattern and powder coated in Monument.

Folded façade panels and flowing curved ceiling elements work together to form a unified architectural language – filtering light, enhancing acoustics, and creating a contemporary layer within the heritage setting.

Making The Leaf Design Perforated Panels For Riverview At Carrington:
:::::::::::::The Arrow Metal team worked closely with the builders and architects to translate the drawing into a workable eucalyptus leaf pattern, which would achieve all the necessary privacy, ventilation, light flow, and aesthetic requirements across the site.

CAD drawings were created to ensure precision perforation, considering each installation location, panel size, and function, from seamless and easy folding capability for the apartment balconies to branded entrance signage.

In total 325 panels were manufactured for the large-scale project in 3mm aluminium, creating a stunning, cohesive, and visually appealing scheme that elegantly matches Riverview’s architecture and branding, whilst also adding a sense of serenity and nature to each apartment interior outlook.

Creating Movement for Parramatta’s Perforated Metal Public Art
::::::::::: The captivating installation Confluence, by artist Graham Chalcroft of public art specialists Vertebrae, is suspended in the main entry of the award-winning Paramount on Parkes building.

Confluence has transformed Paramount on Parkes’ entrance space into an immersive, multi-sensory experience – where perforated metal design plays a critical role in achieving the sense of visual movement.

::::::::::: We punched aluminium panels in round-hole pattern 244 to form the artwork, designed to be installed in double layers to achieve a mesmerising moiré effect – a phenomenon that distorts the pattern to give the illusion the panels are constantly moving, mimicking currents of water.

Each segment is also illuminated by programmable LED lighting in the base, drawing visitors in day and night while creating a striking and safe entry and exit way.

NEW PROJECT SHOWCASE – Club Liverpool Façade Upgrade
::::::::: As part of the redevelopment of Club Liverpool at 185 George Street, Arrow Metal was engaged to manufacture custom 3D perforated aluminium façade panels designed to create a distinctive architectural feature for the building’s exterior.

The new façade combines glazing, aluminium battens and perforated metal elements to introduce depth, texture and a contemporary identity to the venue.

::::::::: Arrow Metal fabricated precision-folded 3mm aluminium panels with P240 perforations, forming a dynamic geometric façade. The folded triangular facets create a subtle three-dimensional effect, allowing light and shadow to interact with the panels throughout the day.

The panels were powder coated in Interpon D2525 Champagne Shimmer, delivering a premium metallic finish and long-term durability for exterior architectural applications.
