We had the pleasure of repairing Bubsie. This Bubsie is a replica of the original 1923 Citroën 5CV that was the first car to circumnavigate Australia back in 1925. The original Bubsie can be seen in the National Museum of Australia in Canberra. In 2025 it was the 100 year anniversary of this achievement and they will be retracing the journey in the Bubsie replica 🛞

Qualified Mechanic 🔧

Sheffield Mechanical & Tyre are looking for a new team member to join our team

ABOUT THE ROLE:
This role is full-time, Monday to Friday (8:00am - 4:30pm) with one rostered day off (RDO) per month.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
All aspects of vehicle maintenance

ABOUT YOU:
The ideal applicant will have:
- Certificate III in Automotive
- Minimum 5yrs experience working unsupervised
- A current manual driver's licence
- High attention to detail and a can do attitude
- Must have good people and communication skills
- Fun and friendly manner
- Ability to work within a team
- Knowledge of European vehicles is an advantage (but not essential)
