Big things happening for our region 👏

Yesterday we were proud to host Minister Brent Mickelberg, Minister Wayde Chiesa and Senator Anthony Chisholm on site to announce vital funding for upgrades to the Bruce Highway.

This investment is a major step forward in improving one of Queensland’s most important transport corridors - supporting our communities, strengthening connectivity, and most importantly, helping make our roads safer for everyone who uses them.

Great to see all levels of government working together to deliver for North Queensland.

Mada has recently completed the prestigious Futuru Líder ba ASEAN (FLBA) National Leadership Program a highly competitive initiative established by the Government of Timor-Leste to develop the country’s next generation of leaders.

Cultural Heritage Awareness – Emmett Ck to Killymoon Ck - over the past two days, our RMS project team and contractors participated in Cultural Heritage Awareness training delivered by Bindal Elder, Eddie Smallwood, for our upcoming PUP Relocation works at Killymoon for RoadTek.

Training was held both on site and at our RMS office, giving our team valuable insight into the cultural significance of the land and the importance of protecting Cultural Heritage throughout the project.

We sincerely thank Eddie for sharing his knowledge and stories. Engaging early and learning directly from Traditional Owners helps ensure our works are undertaken respectfully and responsibly.
