Originally built in 1968, we are excited to be a part of the historical reconstruction of the RWY 16R Threshold. Sydney Airport contracted us to reconstruct the rigid pavement at the busiest runway and threshold in Australia over a period of four months. The pavement has been maintained up to this point utilising our Rapid Set slab repair program.

Recently, we were tasked with supplying Rapid Set Cement for Roadtek in Brisbane. The crew were constructing new footings for a signage upgrade. Due to the time constraints of the program, Rapid Set was employed to fill four holes with the signage set in place after a single shift.

Our team has finished work at Fern Hill Estate. We remediated 4km of road, laying asphalt and filling potholes while installing fresh turf on the perimeter of the road. For an effective asset prolongation, the heritage-listed site required a specialised methodology to minimise impact to its original integrity.

Our team worked through the night on Friday to execute a critical stage for Kitty’s Creek project. Two 9t precast planks, spanning 14m were craned off the existing bridge metres away from overhead services. They were successfully placed on previously installed abutments with nil issues and record time, concluding the night as a success.

We are excited to announce that work has kicked off again at Melbourne International Airport using our market leading rapid set technology. Antoun are proud to continue our 10 year working relationship with Melbourne Airport where we have supplied and placed over 4500 cubic metres of Rapid Set Concrete. The current project scope is to deliver 32 slabs on Melbourne's critical Taxiway Kilo and Runway 16.

After establishing a road shift and pedestrian barrier, we completed the necessary piling works for the bridge widening at Kitty Creek. Last week we utilised a specialty piling rig due to the restricted access. Works were completed in an expedient manner to alleviate high water table issues and a specialty mix design was pumped to pour the piles.

The team has been working hard at Kitty Creek. We were contracted to widen an existing bridge in East Ryde to deliver a pedestrian walkway. Work includes clearing and grubbing, piling, concrete construction and precast installation. The finished project will present a safer and wider pedestrian access for local community use.
