🔧 WANT A JOB WHERE YOU DON'T DO THE SAME THING ALL DAY?

TRAINEE TYRE & WORKSHOP TECHNICIAN — TRAINING PROVIDED

We're looking for someone who likes working with their hands, enjoys learning new things and would rather have a job with variety than do the same task every day.

You don't need tyre fitting experience.

We'll teach you.

A typical day with us might involve:

🚗 Fitting tyres to 4WDs and light vehicles
📐 Wheel alignments
🔩 Making hydraulic hoses
🛢️ Oils, parts and product sales
🔧 Minor servicing and workshop jobs
🚜 Working on a wide range of vehicles, machinery and equipment
👨‍🔧 Learning from experienced technicians

And you'll be working towards a nationally recognised qualification in light, heavy, industrial and OTR tyre fitting while you're being paid to learn.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

We're not expecting you to know how to do all of this already.

We're looking for someone who is:

✔ Keen to learn
✔ Reliable and turns up
✔ Happy to get their hands dirty
✔ Good with customers and the rest of the team
✔ Able to work independently once they've been shown what to do
✔ Careful and takes pride in their work
✔ Comfortable using technology
✔ Willing to have a go at different jobs
✔ Honest when they make a mistake and willing to learn from it

WHY THIS IS A GOOD TRADE TO LEARN

We're going to teach you more than just how to fit tyres.

You'll build practical skills across tyres, wheel alignments, hydraulics, servicing, products and customer service.

That means you can become a genuinely versatile technician — someone who can walk into a workshop, mobile service business, mining operation or other heavy-industry environment and bring useful skills with you.

Our goal is to train someone who becomes bloody good at what they do — and hopefully stays with us for a long time.

But even if your career eventually takes you somewhere else, you'll leave with a nationally recognised qualification and practical skills that are in demand.

FYI, getting some steel in stock, just got a sling of 50x50x3mm SHS, Still got some 75x75x2mm gal SHS. PM with any requests, we get steel deliveries to site in Sapphire pretty regularly. We have forklifts to load unload here.
