What’s trending? Hidden storage (but make it practical).

We’re seeing more homes designed around everyday life.

Hidden robo vac docks.
Pull-out laundry baskets.
Shoe cabinets that keep the entry clear.
Even hidden dog bowls neatly tucked away.

It’s not about having more storage, it’s about storing things smarter.

When everything has a place (even the vacuum), the whole home feels calmer.

If you’re planning your renovation, let’s design in your extra storage from the start.

The question we never want to hear mid-renovation:
"Can we still add a niche?"

Once your waterproofing is done, adding one means cutting back into the wall, redoing the waterproofing, and potentially pushing the whole job out. It's not impossible; it's just more expensive, more time, and completely avoidable.

Here's the thing about a shower niche. It sounds like a small detail until you have one. No bottles balanced along the edge. No soap dish held up with hope. Just a clean built-in shelf that looks like it was always meant to be there.

But it has to be planned from the very beginning , before waterproofing, before tiling.

If you're about to start a bathroom reno, come in and chat to us first. We'll make sure you don't have that conversation halfway through.

Choosing a kitchen tap sounds simple...

Until you're standing in the showroom staring at 40 different options wondering what the actual difference is.

A few things worth thinking about before you commit:
↳ Finish: matte black, chrome, brushed nickel, gunmetal, brushed brass. Think about what ties in with your handles, appliances, and overall kitchen vibe (and yes, it's okay to mix finishes, done well, it looks considered).
↳ Pull-out vs fixed spout: pull-outs are a game changer for rinsing big pots and cleaning the sink. Fixed spouts look sleek and minimal. Both work, it's a lifestyle call.
↳ Height & reach: too tall and it splashes, too short and you can't fit a stockpot underneath. The size of your sink matters here.
↳ Quality of the cartridge: the bit you don't see is the bit that determines how long it lasts. Cheap taps fail fast. Always ask.
↳ Water pressure compatibility: not every tap suits every home. Worth checking before you fall in love with one.

The good news? You don't have to figure this out alone. Pop into the showroom and we'll walk you through the options based on your kitchen, your lifestyle, and your budget.

If your reno has a "coastal but make it grown-up" brief, this one's for you. 🌊

Meet Palm Cove Blue Decor (300x600); deep blue tones, matte texture, and the kind of depth that makes a bathroom or laundry feel instantly considered.

It's glazed porcelain, made for walls, and built to last. The colour and soft pattern does the heavy lifting, with a beautifully layered blue that'll still feel right in ten years.

What we'd pair it with:
↳ Warm brushed brass or gunmetal tapware to soften the cool tones
↳ A creamy off-white floor tile (or natural stone look) to let the blue shine
↳ Timber vanity for warmth and contrast
↳ Crisp white grout, or a soft grey if you want the tile pattern to recede

Think: ensuite feature wall, powder room moment, laundry splashback that punches above its weight.

Now on display at the Salisbury showroom. Come see it in person, photos genuinely don't do the tone justice 👏🏼

Renovating as a couple? IYKYK. 😅

One of you is deep in demo dust, measuring twice and cutting once.

The other is 47 tabs deep on our website, three Pinterest boards in, and arranging tile samples on the kitchen floor like it's a full-time job.

Both are valid. Both are necessary. And in our opinion? The flatlays are doing a lot of the heavy lifting.

Good news for the sample-scrollers; we have a huge range online, ready to get lost in. And if you can't find exactly what you're after, give the showroom a call and we'll help you track it down. 👏🏼

If the thought of dragging out the ironing board is enough to put you off ironing altogether... same.

Enter the Robinhood Ironing Centre; a built-in, fold-down ironing board that tucks neatly into your laundry cabinetry. No lugging, no storing, no tripping over it in the hallway.

Here's why we love it:
↳ Flips down in seconds and folds straight back up when you're done
↳ Integrated power point with a built-in safety switch (no cords across the room)
↳ A clean, considered laundry that actually works as hard as you do

Small feature, big quality-of-life upgrade, especially for anyone designing a new laundry or reworking an existing one.

Now on display in the showroom in Salisbury. ✨

The renovation horror list 👻

↳ Skipping waterproofing
↳ Tiling over old tiles
↳ Unlicensed trades
↳ Overcommitting on scope
↳ Surprise costs at the end

Every one of these is avoidable. The fix is getting the right advice before you start; not after the damage is done.

Planning a reno? Come in for a chat first. We'd rather help you get it right than help you fix it later.
