VH-IJM a 1968 Beechcraft Travel-Air is back in the air one year and one month after it landed, with a landing gear malfunction due to a mechanical failure.

Now fitted with new propellers, overhauled engines, all airframe damage repaired and avionics upgraded. This little Travel-Air will keep moving people around the country for many years to come.

Just over two years ago VH-MWW was delivered to us in pieces after surving an in flight fire in its left hand wing. 26 months later we successfully repaired the the fire damage both to the structure and electrical system, paint stripped and repainted in a fresh scheme and reassemble ready for flight.
