🌟 We’re Hiring – Junior Quoter / Junior Estimator 🌟
LDB Engineering – Brisbane

LDB Engineering is looking for a Junior Quoter / Junior Estimator with some construction or estimating experience to join our growing team. This role is ideal for someone who has basic industry exposure but is still developing their skills — no full supervision responsibilities required.

We will provide on-the-job training and ongoing support to help you grow confidently into the role.

What You’ll Be Doing:
• Assisting with quotes for structural steel projects
• Learning to interpret structural and technical drawings
• Attending site meetings and completing accurate site measurements
• Communicating with builders, clients, and suppliers
• Supporting scheduling, drafting, and admin tasks

What We’re Looking For:
• Some experience in construction, engineering, or estimating (junior level)
• Basic Microsoft Office/Excel skills
• Experience in CAD/estimating platforms
• Professional presentation — you will represent LDB on site and in meetings
• Reliable, motivated, and eager to develop a long-term career

LDB Engineering is seeking experienced Welders and Boilermakers to join our growing team in Rocklea. These positions start on a casual basis with the potential to transition into part-time or full-time employment for the right candidates.

✅ About the Role:

Workshop & site-based structural steel fabrication and installation

Reading and interpreting technical drawings

Undertaking welding tests prior to commencement

Working across residential and commercial projects

🔧 Requirements:

Manual car licence (valid, current, no restrictions)

Full working rights in Australia – LDB Engineering does not offer international or visa sponsorship

White card, current, valid, no restriction

Potential to request a police check

Forklift licence

Applicants must already be living and working in Australia

Immediate availability

Ability to interpret and work from technical drawings

Previous site experience in structural steel

Strong work ethic and reliability
