We are seeking someone for an immediate start on a casual basis, with the potential to progress to full-time employment.

𝐃𝐮𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐬 𝐰𝐢𝐥𝐥 𝐢𝐧𝐜𝐥𝐮𝐝𝐞:

- Reception and general administrative duties
- Answering calls and assisting families with enquiries
- Preparing funeral documentation and correspondence
- Liaising with families and service providers
- Supporting our Funeral Directors with the coordination of services
- Maintaining accurate records and completing data entry

𝐀𝐛𝐨𝐮𝐭 𝐲𝐨𝐮:

- Compassionate, friendly, professional, and comfortable supporting grieving families
- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
- Strong communication, customer service, and computer skills
- Reliable, discreet, able to work well within a team and individually

Kerrod (Kerry) Cowan, formerly of Emerald and more recently of Rockhampton, passed away on 1 September 2026.

In accordance with Kerry’s wishes, a private cremation has taken place.

Family and friends are warmly invited to join us for an informal memorial gathering at Nerimbera Football Club at 2pm on Tuesday, 8 September 2026, to remember Kerry, share a few stories and celebrate his life.

There will be no formal service or eulogies. We’re keeping the gathering relaxed and casual, the way Kerry would have liked it, with everyone welcome to simply catch up and share their own stories and memories.

Smart casual attire is perfectly fine, no need to dress formally.

In lieu of flowers or cards, we are hoping to invite people to make a donation to Cancer Council Queensland in Kerry’s memory.
