We’re looking for an enthusiastic and organised person to join our team as a Parts Interpreter on a permanent, full-time basis. A passion for motorcycles is preferable and a current full motorcycle license advantageous but, above all else, we’re looking for a real go-getter and positive team player keen to learn and complement us and our business. This is a pivotal role, after all, so we want the right person, and for the long-term....maybe some Facebook skills as well as this should be an ad ;-)

How? By building strong relationships with our customers and doing every job the right way. Quality and integrity are the bedrock of our business.
Main tasks:
● All areas of parts sales and interpreting including stock control, retail sales as well as supplying our service department
● Organise and plan work so that it is done efficiently and in accordance with our work standards
● Work closely with our technicians as well as assist other staff as required
● Sell products such as technical riderwear, tyres, as well as motorcycle and camping accessories
● Search lists of parts to identify part numbers, price and availability
● Interpreting the customer’s parts requirements, at the counter and over the phone
● Source and order parts from external suppliers
● Manage and maintain records, purchase orders, quotes and invoicing
● Assist to maintain stock in line with the business and customer needs
● Determine customer requirements and advise on product range, price, delivery, product use and care
● Prepare invoices and other finance arrangements for the sale of stock
● Process cash and credit transactions
● Collect, pack and dispatch or deliver ordered parts
● Participate in stocktaking (regular checking and valuing of goods) and update computer data
Required qualities:
● Strong communication and sales/customer service skills across all channels – online, phone and face to face
● Strong time management/organised approach to work – able to work quickly under pressure and carry out duties in an efficient and timely manner
● Initiative and forward-thinking in all aspects of the business
● Problem-solving skills
● High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
● Computer literate
● A team player – willingness to assist and support others as required and get on with team members
● Available to be on the weekend roster (every second Saturday)
● Maintain a neat and tidy appearance in the workplace
Desired qualities:
● Previous experience is preferable, but we can train the right person
● Business and brand awareness – know our business and what we do
● Full motorcycle license is an advantage
