We use a range of Cisco and Ericsson equipment starting at the customer’s exchange, right through to our tier1 links through to the U.S. We also use a range of Dark Fibre carriers to back haul our data to our POA (Points of Aggregation). Equipment varies from:
1) Cisco 6200 DSLAMS
2) Cisco 6400 ATM Switches
3) Ericsson Modular DSLAMs
4) Cisco 7200, 7500 as our DSL termination devices
5) Multiple redundant upstream providers. All our back end systems are hosted on Sun severs using Solaris as the Operating System. Flextalk also operates and interconnects with numerous dark Fibre Optic carriers for various purposes including but not limited to:
- VoIP Services
- Dark Fibre Fibre Layer 1 Point to Point services
- Peering agreements
- Metro Ethernet Layer 2 services (Last Mile access)
- Back Haul
