9 Molonglo - Project Update:

You may have noticed, this new structure prouldly sticking out whilst driving past the airport. Its located at the southern end of the Brindabella Business Park. As you can see they are now installing the very impressive looking facade and it looks amazing. The building will be handed over as a cold shell with a full building fit out to be performed post completion late 2024/early 2025. We are really appreciative of Construction Control and the Canberra Airport for allowing us to be a part of such a great landmark building.

Switched On Electrical Services would like to pay tribute to the great man Terry Snow, he will be missed by many.
Indirectly we have worked for Terry through many of his outstanding projects for almost 18 years, most commonly known being the Canberra Airport. Terry had a love for a quality outcome and believed each project should be presented in its best possible manner. Terry was not interested in short-term solutions he developed spaces that attracted those that appreciated his extra efforts. It has been such a great experience for us to be along for the ride, giving us the opportunity to show the quality outcomes we have achieved together. We look forward to our ongoing relationship with the Canberra Airport Group, I am sure they will continue to do Terry proud, but we will never forget the man that started it all and the amazing outcome that he achieved for Canberra and other areas throughout Australia. RIP Terry Snow

Passing of Terry Snow AM

We are saddened to announce the death of Terry Snow AM, 80. A beloved husband, father, grandfather, philanthropist, and businessman, his legacy includes developments like Canberra Airport, Constitution Place, and Willinga Park. His dedication to excellence will be remembered for generations.

The Snow Family will have a private service, but a public memorial will be arranged in the coming weeks.

Instead of flowers, donations are welcomed to Hands Across Canberra FRRR Sydney Women's Fund and Sober in the Country Ltd

Congratulations to Keegan for becoming Switched On's first employee to reach 10 years of service. From apprentice to foreman it has been an awesome journey so far. Keep up the good work mate. 🍻

Here is a sneak peak of our construction teams latest project.
This fit out is a new collaboration space, located within the recently completed 220 London circuit building which is leased to the ACT Government.

This project had numerous challenges including:
- Low overhead concrete slab heights.
- Having exposed services whilst maintaining a high end finish.
- Compressed time frame.
Along with the new extended lead times and cost increase challenges that we are now facing regularly within the industry.

We are proud to remain being involved with this building and showing off what can be achieved by the SOES team.

Here at Switched On Electrical Services we have made the decision to stop being dinosaurs and to finally have a social media presence for you all to follow.

Our intention is to keep you all up to date with current projects as well as other changes that might be happening behind the scenes.

You will have to bare with us as this is a little left field from what we usually do day to day, but hopefully we can get some exciting content uploaded and build up a group that can follow us on our journey so far and also experience the ongoing efforts of the SOES team.

We also plan to update our website soon which will provide a more up to date profile of some of the impressive projects we have completed and have on the go.
