Engine Reconditioner or Trade Assistant
We have a great opportunity available for an Engine machinist or Trade assistant in our modern Performance engine rebuilding shop in Portland Victoria.
Port City Engines is a family owned & operated business established since 1984 with an excellent reputation, Industry knowledge & technical expertise.
We provide engine machining services for performance automotive, industrial & marine, Petrol & Diesel engines as well as our HP-series performance engines Australia wide using some of the industry’s most advanced modern & accurate equipment.

Previous experience and automotive knowledge would be an advantage.

We are looking for someone who is able to:
Handle incoming phone sales and book in workshop jobs.
Order in stock, unpack, sort and manage stock through to dispatch.
Maintain & develop online sales, manage internet inquiries and sales.
Update electronic catalogues / manage website content and social media content.

Required Experience, Skills and Qualifications.

We are looking for someone who:
Has experience selling spare parts or has substantial automotive experience.
Has good computer skills and is organised, punctual and self-motivated.
Is customer focused.
Drug test may be required.

Job Type and Category

We are looking for someone to start full time straight away. Monday to Friday (no weekends) and we offer the industry award salary package. The more skills you bring to the table the more we can offer you.
