We recently had the pleasure of carrying out a post-purchase inspection on this SAS’d RC Colorado.

The customer travelled all the way from Victoria to QLD to pick it up, and on the trip home swung by the workshop so we could give it a thorough once-over.

Apart from a few minor mechanical items from general wear and tear, the vehicle checked out really well with nothing major to report.

The Colorado had previously been tuned but came with no paperwork, so we went through all fuel system values and live data before putting it on the dyno. We then ran boost and AFR logging to make sure everything was safe and healthy.

Happy to report the tune was spot on 👌🏼

With only a small list of maintenance items to sort once back home, the customer was able to hit the road with confidence knowing the engine and tune were safe and performing as they should.

Neat and mean N70 in for a simple remap 🔥

This customer picked up the car stock and within 3 months had already turned it into a beast.

Not long after purchase, the factory turbo let go. After a chat over the phone, we decided a Flex Pro VNT would be the best option to suit his setup and goals.

We sent it out for him to fit, which got him back on the road and ready to make the 3-hour trip from Canberra for the Modified Explorer remap and hard cut.

Once on the dyno, the results spoke for themselves:

192HP / 536NM 💪

Late model D-MAX in for our most popular ECU/TCU package 🔥

This one arrived with some tasteful supporting mods already fitted by the customer, including an upgraded front mount intercooler, transmission cooler, and exhaust — a solid setup to complement the tune.

We started with a baseline dyno run before getting to work on a custom remap designed to increase power, torque, and fuel economy.
