ATTENTION, if your horse is not travelling that well, we have dividers that will suit your needs.

"My horse is not travelling well." We hear this a lot. When we look at the float, there is often a single bar divider with no padding.

We modify dividers on all floats to suit all horses. Each one is padded and fitted with an inbuilt spring loaded latch that is easy to use when loading and unloading, while securely locking the divider into place while travelling.

This float came to us with a problem. The horse did not fit comfortably inside and the dividers were too low for its size.

When a divider sits too low on a larger horse, it may not give them the support they need while travelling. This horse was uncomfortable in the float.

The fix was to convert the existing dividers from the lower height to a taller height, so they now sit where they should for a horse of this size. We also converted the existing dividers to have new rotating stallion head partitions.

Sick and tired of pulling your bed out every time you camp in your float.

That is what this customer told us, so we built her one that folds down off the internal side wall. She transports 1 horse at a time but with this bed, she can transport 2 horses safely.

A lot of older floats still have nothing more than a bum bar or a chain across the rear. It works until it does not, and loading or unloading a horse with just a small chain or light bum bar in alot of cases is just trouble waiting to happen.

We modify these floats with large, sturdy breaching gates, built to operate easily so loading and unloading stays simple. We also modify the centre divider to roll into place, which takes the effort out of getting it open or shut with a horse already loaded.

What starts as a dangerous, awkward setup can end up safe and easy to use.

A lady brought her float in wanting a complete freshen up. She has had the float a while and was not looking to replace it, she just wanted the exterior looking better than it ever had.
We gave it the full exterior treatment, also with some extra checkerplate alloy trims for that bling finish.
There is something to be said for keeping a float you know and trust, especially once it looks and feels new again.

This float came in with the rear section rusted out and the tailgate about to fall off. Not a small job, but the owner was not interested in replacing her float. She likes it and wanted it fixed.

We cut out the rear crossmember and fitted a new one, added larger side light supports for extra strength given the age of the float, painted everything in 2-pack white and refurbished the tailgate with new timber and rubber.

Being qualified motor body builders means we have the experience to take on this kind of structural work and get it right. This float will be back out doing the job for years to come.

A couple came in with their 2 horse straight load float. They float mini horses and needed more storage room for gear.

We modified our standard angle load rug rack into a straight load style, which opened up extra storage space in the float.

A lot of what comes through the shop is rust repair work for registration and pink slip inspections.

Worth pointing out, we not only do full exterior resprays. Plenty of jobs are just parts of the float, a panel, a section, wherever the rust has come through. We prep the area properly, and paint with durable 2 pack paint.

The prep is what makes the difference. Rush that part and the repair does not last.
