JW Cross Maintenance Pty Ltd are seeking machine operators for ongoing work at the Boddington Bauxite Mine, Western Australia. Casual positions with a view to permanence are on offer for suitably skilled candidates able to satisfy probationary period requirements.

Position benefits / conditions:
• Above award rates.
• Predominately 50 + hour working weeks and family friendly rosters.
• Preference for applicants residential to Boddington or DIDO.

Required Disciplines:
* Multi skilled individuals highly regarded.

• Graders x 14H/M
• Dozers to Caterpillar D9T
• Excavators to 40t
• Road Going Water Trucks
• Front end loaders to caterpillar 980 or equivalent
• All round operators
General Civil Earthworks Experience preferred but not essential.

Qualified Operators Required.

As JW Cross Maintenance continues its journey of growth, we acknowledge that highly skilled people are an integral part of our efforts to successfully provide client support.

We have positions available from mid-January for upcoming civil and rail maintenance work at the Worsley Alumina Refinery, and Boddington Bauxite Mine in the Southwest Region of Western Australia.

This is a DIDO position with company supplied transport.

Casual positions with a view to permanence are on offer for suitably skilled candidates able to satisfy probationary period requirements.

Applications are therefore sought from individuals with previous experience in the following disciplines.

Operators required for:

• EXCAVATOR (2t to 36t)
• SKID STEER OPERATORS (All including MTL)
• FRONT END LOADER OPERATORS (CAT 906 to CAT 972 or equivalent)
• GRADER OPERATORS (CAT 12 / 140)
• DOZER OPERATORS (D6, D6 LGP & D8)
• ALL ROUND OPERATORS

Essential Requirements:

• All applicants must have the ability to pass a pre-employment medical and be able to adhere to ongoing drug and alcohol testing requirements.

• Successful candidates need to be conscientious, self-starting, safety conscious and able to work unsupervised.

• Must hold a current Western Australian Motor Vehicle driver licence with minimum HR accreditation.

• All applicants must hold nationally accredited units of competency for relevant plant.

• Due to fatigue management, applicants must reside within a 60km radius of Worsley or be prepared to relocate.

Highly Desirable:

• Recent experience operating earthmoving equipment in a Civil or Construction environment.

• Candidates with rail network and or asphalt experience will be highly regarded.
