We’ve just added a new item to our welding practice shelf.. 2.5L Aluminium Catch Can Kit for Welding Practice, but also doubles up as a functional catch can for your car!

This is a 2.5L universal baffled catch can which is great for the DIY-ers or anyone learning to weld.

Supplied as a kit including:
Speedflow -10 weld on x 2
Speedflow -6 weld on x 1
Speedflow -6 cap x 1
1.5” barb to suit breather or plumb back applications

Orientation of fittings can be changed between two sides or front face depending on application.

We have a set of VT - VZ front quarter tanks ready to go.

Passenger side is setup for mechanical injection, and drivers side is a breather tank with -12 fittings.

These tanks are for sale at a reduced price as they were made for a customer who hasn’t paid their invoice in 3 months, so you will be saving yourself $480 on the total price as we are only trying to recoup lost costs.

We have a set of VT - VZ front quarter tanks in stock (2 middle tanks in first picture).

They are blanks which can be turned into a fuel tank, breather tank or water tank if required.

Cost for blank tank is $850 each, we can supply fittings required at additional cost, or we can finish them off once the workshop is back up and running in a few weeks!

Just to note other tanks pictured are for reference.

Just a little update as shop hours will be changing over the coming weeks so please bear with us!

As of Monday 15th June - Monday 20th July the shop front will be open for retail only sales on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday & Friday 8:45am - 2:30pm (closed Wednesdays) as Sarah will be there during those hours.

As Glenn is unable to work for the next 6 weeks the fabrication & welding side of the business will be on hold until then.

We will be juggling jobs and in touch with any customers booked in during this time as we will have a lot of catch up & back log when Glenn is back!

Thanks to everyone for your support & kind messages, surgery for Nelg Taylor went well but he is already bored out of his brains having to stay still and rest 😂

Just a quick update to let everyone know Nelg Taylor is in hospital with appendicitis and booked in for surgery tomorrow, so please bear with us as we have a few slow weeks ahead!

Here’s a set of 100L Torona drop tanks, one with an in-tank pump unit for a customer and the other for external pump use.

These are a very large Torana drop tank look which fill up the back of the Torana for anyone chasing the original style (last pic as an example)

They can be supplied with or without filler necks.

We currently have one external tank for sale and can be supplied with straps & rubbers to suit original mount points, and filler neck if required. (SOLD)

Includes:
-10 pickup
-8 breather
-8 return
1/2” barb to suit original filler necks
73-10 ohms sender to suit factory gauge cluster

Note: These are a drop tank and do not suit licensing & pit requirements due to departure angle.

Here’s a set of VB - VS 80L tanks we have just built.

One houses an Aeromotive in-tank pump hanger unit we have just made for a customers VL.

The other is for an external fuel pump with a -10 pickup, 8 breather & return, and a custom fuel sender with 282-40 ohms to suit factory dash requirements.

It also comes with stainless steel straps & rubbers to fit factory mount points.

We had Brad’s twin turbo small block EK in for some upgrades as he wasn’t confident in the original cage.

Between fab, paint, electrical & tune, the timeframe is pretty tight as it’s heading over to Street Machine Drag Challenge in October.

Work Carried Out:

▪️ Removal of original cage
▪️ New 6 Point cage with additional v-bars in the roof & extra bar work to tie into the floor in order to give the car extra strength
▪️ Tube work to tie in the front end as the front clip unbolts & we were worried about it twisting to the body
▪️ New set of matching Kirkey seats

+ many other small background jobs as usual!

The car will be back after paint for a new Plazmaman water to air intercooler as the original one leaked like a sieve, along with fresh pipework to match.
