Westside Hire is an EWP Hire specialist located in Welshpool, established in 2012. We pride ourselves on delivering quality service and equipment to our customers.
An opportunity exists for an experienced Field Service / Workshop Technician to join our team to perform quality workshop duties and service EWP equipment within the Perth area.
Tasks & Responsibilities
Execute scheduled maintenance and servicing of EWP equipment on site and in the workshop.
Carry out 10yr major over-haul of EWP equipment.
Respond to and carry out breakdown repairs.
Safe use and care of tools, vehicles, plant, and equipment.
Workshop duties - including but not limited to, cleaning machines, safety checks and ordering parts.
Qualifications and experience
Must have extensive EWP servicing experience (Genie, JLG and Skyjack)
Must have EWP License
Driver’s License essential (HR driver’s License desirable)
Forklift License desirable.
In addition to the above, the successful applicant will have and be able to demonstrate the following requirements.
Advance problem-solving skills.
Ability to work with limited supervision, and to work as part of a team.
Reliable and trustworthy.
Excellent customer service skills.
Ability to communicate effectively in both oral and written forms.
Solid understanding of safety protocols.
Demonstrated planning and organizational skills.
Ability to provide a satisfactory National Police Clearance.
Pass a pre-employment medical assessment for physical labour and drug & alcohol test.
Proof of right to work in Australia.

$45/hr + penalties + new Hilux work vehicle – Depending on qualifications and previous experience.
