Our wholly owned facility in Rayong, Thailand has been operating since 2009, delivering cost-competitive fabrication without introducing quality risk. ISO 9001:2015 certified and fully integrated with our WA operations, it runs on the same information systems and is supported by our Western Australian estimation and project management teams - so clients get the same standard of service, regardless of where their work is produced.

Clients also have the option to receive deliverables at our Henderson facility for QA inspection before final delivery - giving full visibility and confidence at every stage.

Steelstruct has successfully achieved recertification to AS/NZS ISO 3834.2 following our recent audit.

So what does that actually mean?

AS/NZS ISO 3834.2 is a key standard for welding quality management. It ensures that everything we do — from planning and procedures through to final inspection — meets strict technical and safety requirements.

For our clients, it means confidence. Confidence that our work is consistent, compliant, and built to last.

The Steelstruct Executive team recently travelled to our Thailand facility to host a site tour for an international EPCM, where our client was able to see first-hand the quality of our fabrication and the workmanship of our local team.

For many of our customers, our Thailand facility provides a cost-effective option for fabrication — without compromising on quality.

Located in Rayong with strong transport and port accessibility, the facility operates under the same QA/QC processes and management systems as our Australian operations and is ISO 9001:2015 certified.

Importantly, our customers continue to work closely with our Henderson-based estimation and project management teams, maintaining local support while benefiting from expanded manufacturing capability.

Together, our Henderson workshop and Thailand facility provide flexible procurement options, allowing customers to choose the solution that best fits their project requirements

Steelstruct was proud to attend the Clontarf Foundation’s Year 12 Leadership Morning Tea recently.

The event brought together Year 12 academy members, along with Clontarf staff, partners, and supporters, to recognise students as they begin their final year of school and look ahead to the opportunities beyond graduation.

As a long-standing supporter of the Clontarf Foundation, Steelstruct is proud to be part of a network of partners helping to encourage and support these young men as they work towards completing Year 12 and building strong futures.

Thank you to the Clontarf team for hosting such a meaningful event.

Our brand new truck is here!

With its large drop deck trailer, it can transport a range of large-scale equipment to and from site, allowing us to better support our customers across the state with door to door delivery capability.

We’re pleased to welcome two new apprentices to the Steelstruct team this year — Thomas and Oscar.

Thomas has joined us as a Trades Assistant after coming through the Clontarf Foundation, an organisation we’ve proudly supported for several years by offering work experience and apprenticeship opportunities. The Clontarf Foundation works with young Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander men, using education, life skills, and mentoring to help improve employment outcomes — and we’re pleased to play a small part in that journey.

Oscar has joined Steelstruct as an Apprentice CNC Machinist, beginning his trade pathway in precision machining and mechanical engineering. We’re excited to support Oscar as he develops his technical skills and grows into the role.

At Steelstruct, investing in training, mentoring, and the next generation of mechanical engineering tradespeople is critical to our sustainability. By creating supportive pathways into the industry, we’re helping build skilled, capable teams — now and into the future.
