Machine down and a rebuild isn't fast enough? Our service exchange runs on a part-in, reconditioned unit-out basis. You collect off the shelf, we recondition what you hand back.

Custom service trailer, built and fitted at our Maddington workshop.

Hydraulic systems, hose reels and pumps, all configured to spec. Built for operators who need equipment that does exactly what their site requires.

The formula for minimising downtime is straightforward. It requires a combination of reliable engineering and strict cost management.

Our crew delivered on both priorities this week when they finished rebuilding two 793F rear struts. We handle the entire process under one roof to maintain complete control over the quality.

Having our machinists, technicians and testing rig in the same bay means we catch minor variations immediately on the workshop floor, allowing us to dial in the rod alignment and seal fit before the struts are wrapped for transport back to the site.

Keeping operators completely clear of the live zone.

This mobile asset modification for Ventia moves the operator away from immediate machinery hazards without losing operational precision.

By integrating a specialised B&R remote control station directly into the unit, alongside custom, heavy-duty access platforms, OMG Engineering built a system completely tailored to the crew’s daily routine. Everything was handled under our roof in Maddington, from initial design consultation through to final system verification.

Our latest custom utility service body is nearing completion and is almost ready for active duty, where it will directly support the WA power network.

When field crews spend long shifts working out of a vehicle, quick access to specialised tools is vital. We mapped this entire module around the operators daily routine to create a functional mobile workspace. Every compartment and mounting point is engineered to improve response times during emergency callouts. It is a locally built asset designed to handle the realities of regional fieldwork.

Waiting for a hydraulic rebuild can stall a project for days. Our exchange service removes that delay. An immensely popular service of late gaining lots of interest from operators looking to maintain maximum fleet availability. You can swap your worn unit for a fully reconditioned or new cylinder from our stock to get back to work immediately.

Every unit is pressure tested and finished to site specifications in our Perth workshop. It is a straightforward solution for operators who need to maintain high fleet availability.

Fresh out of the booth and ready for the road.

Custom fabrication work for a major WA utility provider is almost complete. What started as raw steel is now a fully realised, custom-engineered service body.

Every single component is designed, fabricated, and tested right here in-house to meet the absolute highest safety standards for field crews.
And that finish? It's the final layer of protection for a structure built to handle the most demanding operating conditions in the state.
Final fit-out is underway.

Our Cylinder Service Exchange for CAT 793F rear struts is designed to keep your haulage fleet moving. Instead of your machine sitting idle while a cylinder is in the workshop, you can swap your worn unit for one of our precision-tested, site-ready struts immediately.

Every exchange unit undergoes a rigorous refurbishment process at our Maddington workshop. We handle the full cycle: teardown, machining, assembly and final pressure testing. This ensures that every strut meets the high-performance standards required for heavy-duty mining environments.
