We are seeking a motivated and reliable General Hand to join our dynamic team at our timber yard. This role is essential to maintaining the smooth operation of our yard.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the loading and unloading of timber and other materials.
- Organize and maintain the yard, ensuring a clean and safe working environment.
- Support the team in inventory management and stock control
- Operate machinery and tools safely and efficiently (training will be provided).
- Process timber end to end.
- Follow all health and safety regulations and procedures.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a physical labor role is preferred but not essential.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining safety standards.
- Good communication skills and a positive attitude.
- Ability to work as part of a team and independently.
