The Morrison Government has taken another step towards a better future for Australia's franchise sector.

We’ve released a discussion paper on further reform to protect Australia’s family-owned automotive businesses, like the Perth Swedish Auto Centre, from the growing power imbalance with multi-national car companies.

Automotive dealers employ more than 60,000 Australians, including 4,000 apprentices, contributing more than $12 billion to the economy.

Here at Perth Swedish Auto we are happy to of been apart of nearly a decade of campaigning for mandatory sharing of vehicle service and repair information to independent repairers to be passed in Australia.
Thank you to Vince Connelly MP Michael Sukkar MP - Member for Deakin Australian Automotive Aftermarket Association AASDN who have helped make this happen. This now means independent mechanical workshops now have access to all the same data as the dealerships! This also means the cost of replacement parts, vehicle maintenance and repairs become more affordable.
