Hydraulic Fitters & Leading Hand – Components Department
Perth-based Mechanical Workshop
We’re growing our Components Department and are on the hunt for experienced Hydraulic Fitters and a Leading Hand to join our well-established mechanical workshop.

About the Role:
You’ll be working in our components workshop, specialising in the overhaul, repair and testing of hydraulic components including:
• Cylinders, pumps, motors & valves
• Strip, inspect, diagnose and rebuild components
• Fault finding and pressure testing
• Maintaining high standards of safety, cleanliness and quality
Leading Hand Duties:
• Overseeing day-to-day workflow in the components department
• Leading and mentoring fitters & apprentices
• Job planning, quality control and liaising with management
• Being hands-on on the tools while leading by example
What We’re Looking For:
• Trade-qualified Hydraulic Fitter (or strong hydraulic cylinder experience)
• Solid experience in hydraulic component repairs
• Ability to read hydraulic schematics
• Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship
• Reliable, team-focused and safety-minded
• Must have rights to work in Australia
For Leading Hand Role:
• Proven leadership or senior fitter experience
• Confident running jobs and supporting a team
• Good communication and organisational skills
