Good food, good company and a few milestones worth celebrating at our recent Phoenix Metal Group BBQ at our Welshpool plant. Congratulations to Marija Salter on an incredible 25 years of service, and to Josh Cucevic on 15 years with the team. Between them thats 40 years of experience, and probably a few thousand cups of tea. We also recognised team members who have gone above and beyond. Thank you all for the effort you put in every day. Thankyou also to Mainfreight for cooking up a storm for us!

Always great to take a minute during a busy time to get together with the team. Our Townsville crew recently had a BBQ to celebrate achievements, and we finally delivered on a long-running request for a new LandCruiser. Brand new, straight out of the box. A Matchbox box, that is. 😃

Bigger footprint in Orange.

Split Set Mining Systems has relocated its Orange operations to a larger site. Demand from our customers across central west NSW has been growing, and the new premises gives us the room to hold more stock, turn orders around faster and service the region properly.

Ground support is what most people know us for: split sets, plates, cable bolts, resin bolts, mesh and everything that goes with them. What is less well known is that we also stock a full range of everyday mining consumables from the same site: poly pipe and fittings, shouldered and compression fittings, air and water hose, Band-It banding systems, mine marking paint and more. One supplier, one delivery, one less thing for site teams to chase.

Thanks to the Orange team for getting the move done while keeping customers supplied throughout.

Proud to announce that Split Set Mining Systems is extending our partnership with the McGrath Foundation for another year.
What started as a simple idea — turn our pull collars pink — has grown into something we're genuinely proud of. For every pink pull collar sold, we donate 15 cents to help fund McGrath Cancer Care Nurses, who provide specialist support to families navigating one of the hardest things life can throw at you.
It's a small change to a product our customers use every day underground. But those cents add up, and behind every one of them is a family that gets to have a specialist nurse by their side.
To our customers and team who have backed this — thank you. You're the reason we can keep going.
