*** We have Just. Been. Too. Busy. to concertedly look for an Apprentice so we have reposted the Job Ad hoping to snaffle some new interest! If you do know anyone, they are welcome to apply via SEEK.com ***
We are on the lookout for a very motivated and keen individual to join the High Speed Team. We recognise that these opportunities aren't for everyone so we want to make sure the person we offer an Apprenticeship to is a sure bet - that is, someone who has the:
- Interest
- Commitment
- Organisation
- Accountability
- Listening Capacity
- Learning Capability
- Strong Foundations & Work Ethic
to get the most out of working with us.
To do this we are hoping to engage someone in our workshop *first* as a Workshop All-Rounder - helping out with a variety of hands-on day-to-day tasks under direct supervision. This will be a paid gig for about 4 months or so and depending on how that goes, well, it should be Apprenticeship time!
We really love what we do here at High Speed (so apologies if the following comes across as a bit blunt) but we are really only looking for Applicants who have the nouse for, and an unwavering interest in, engineering, manufacturing, technology and/or engineering design... someone passionate about how things work and how they're made - you get the idea. Quite simply, it's a niche trade and can't be forced... the worst thing for us is engaging an Apprentice who simply loses interest, motivation or focus halfway through.
Anyway, enough of the chit chat - if you have the interest, values and can see the bigger picture for yourself then you will know that obtaining a Cert IV in Engineering (CNC Machining) at High Speed will set you on the right future path.
