This Water Tank is a big feature in Watertank Park in Midland. Its located near the old WA Government Railway workshops. The Tank was probably built on site and had become quite rusty. It was originally built in 1910 and held water for the steam locomotives. Around 1960 is was converted to store diesel fuel for locomotives. As a small WA Fabrication Company we were proud, not only of the restoration works we undertook, but also of the Arbor and Shade Structure we fabricated and installed on site.
