Proofload recently completed comprehensive load testing on board a beautiful yacht, covering critical lifting and securing points to help ensure safety and reliability.

Testing included:
- The aft pedestal crane with a water bag weight
- Gangway tie-down points using Proofload’s pad eye tester
- Helideck tie-down points also using our pad eye tester, verifying their performance under the required test loads to facilitate an upgraded helicopter.

Proofload recently witnessed a third-party load test carried out using a 300-ton crane setup.
Our team provided independent witnessing and verification to ensure the test was conducted safely, accurately, and in accordance with the required procedures.

Proofload successful completion of vital maintenance to WA conveyor systems.

Following periodic inspections carried out by our experienced inspectors which identified several issues, in August 2026 Proofload were engaged by a tier 1 mining company to conduct the following works:

§ Full rope replacement on 3 trolley systems
§ Removal and replacement of 12 sheaves
§ Inspection of 19 Wire Rope systems or LAD SAFS

Proofload were able to supply the sheaves and Wire Rope as well as provide all the specialist inspectors and fitters.

These works were also all completed in a 7-day window on a shutdown over day and night shift.
The complete work scope was completed within the assigned time to the satisfaction to the client which resulted in mentions on the daily supervisor report.

This was completed in-house by our experienced team including:

Proofload was recently engaged by a client to design a set of lifting frames and slings for the safe lifting and relocation of a large exchanger cradle and frame.
The project required a tailored engineering solution in compliance with AS4991 and DNV Lifting requirements that considered load distribution, lifting points, transport requirements, and operational constraints to ensure safe and efficient handling throughout the move.

Our team worked closely with the client to develop a practical design that met the required standards while supporting the project's schedule and operational objectives. In Feb 2026 Proofload completed successful 185-ton load tests on 2 bridle assemblies for a Tier 1 resources client, demonstrating our expertise in delivering safe, precise, and technically challenging testing solutions.

This project involved a complex lifting arrangement using two cranes, carefully engineered to achieve the required test load fulfilling the client requirements and relevant standards, while maintaining control throughout the operation.

From collaborating with the client to design an approved lift plan and rigging configuration, to ex*****on and verification, our team worked closely to ensure the test was completed efficiently and safely.
