đź’š We are beyond proud to see Corey, our first ever apprentice achieve his Trade Certificate in Fitting and Machining.

Corey has come along way from when he first started and has turned into an amazing young man.
He is also our longest serving employee and calls himself the 2IC of the business.

Unfortunately Corey is moving on to expand his career up north. We wish him all the best in the future and we will always be here for you. Our door is always open for you and will have a position available for when your ready to return.
For now, get back to work and get off your phone!

Much love “The Kacen Crew”

Side loading quietly destroys hydraulic cylinders.

When a rod operates under misalignment, uneven force is transferred into the gland and seals. That extra stress accelerates seal wear, increases friction and shortens cylinder lifespan.

The leak you see is usually the final symptom, not the first sign of the problem.

If you’re seeing repeated seal failure or uneven wear patterns, don’t just replace the seals.

Send us a message and have the alignment and loading conditions checked before it turns into a full rebuild.

A proper repair solves the problem, it doesn’t delay it.

Hydraulic cylinders fail for a reason.
If the root cause isn’t identified, the rebuild won’t last.

Accurate measurements.
Correct seal selection.
Pressure verification.
Documented inspection.

That’s how downtime is reduced and repeat failures are prevented.

If your hydraulic cylinder needs inspection or rebuild, get it done right the first time.

Send us a message to book a proper assessment.

Hydraulic lubrication protects internal surfaces, controls heat and prevents premature wear.

But when fluid becomes contaminated or breaks down, metal contacts metal.

That’s when scoring starts, seals fail and overheating accelerates internal damage.

By the time movement becomes rough or power drops, wear is already advanced.

Fluid condition isn’t minor maintenance, it’s system protection.

If your hydraulic fluid is overdue for change or showing signs of contamination, don’t wait for a rebuild.

Send us a message to schedule a cylinder inspection or fluid assessment.

Low-quality or overdue hydraulic fluid doesn’t just “get dirty.”
It causes scoring, bearing wear and gradual power loss across the system.

When lubrication breaks down, metal surfaces grind, seals overheat and wear particles circulate through the circuit.

Fluid maintenance is always cheaper than a cylinder rebuild, and far cheaper than unexpected downtime.

If your equipment is running hotter, slower or louder than usual, it’s time to check the fluid.

Send us a message to book a hydraulic inspection before minor wear turns into major repair.

A hydraulic cylinder rebuild isn’t complete until it’s tested.

Pressure testing confirms structural integrity.
Leak testing verifies seal performance.
Functional testing ensures smooth operation under load.

Without proper verification, you’re putting the cylinder, and your operation, back into service on assumption.

That’s where repeat failures, safety risks and unexpected downtime start.

Test it. Document it. Then reinstall it.

If your cylinder is due for rebuild or testing, send us a message and let’s make sure it’s done right the first time.

Pressure spikes don’t always show instantly, but internal damage builds fast.

A sudden surge caused by valve malfunction, trapped air, or system imbalance can distort the barrel, stress the rod, and overload seals.

By the time you notice the leak or performance drop, the structural damage may already be done.

Uncontrolled pressure doesn’t just affect the cylinder — it impacts pumps, valves and the entire hydraulic system.

If you’ve experienced sudden leaks, jerky movement or repeated seal failure, don’t ignore it.

Send us a message and have your hydraulic system pressure checked before it leads to a major breakdown.

A proper hydraulic repair starts with inspection not disassembly.

Pulling a cylinder apart without identifying the failure cause is how repeat breakdowns happen. We don’t just replace seals or components.

We assess rod condition, barrel scoring, seal tolerances, alignment stress and pressure history to determine why the failure occurred.

That’s how downtime is reduced, and how the same issue doesn’t come back.

If your cylinder keeps failing or leaking, don’t patch it again.

Send us a message and book a proper inspection before it costs you another shutdown.

Rod damage is rarely cosmetic.

Chrome pitting from impact, contamination scoring, or incorrect internal clearance all create friction inside the hydraulic cylinder.

That friction destroys seals, destabilises pressure and accelerates internal wear.

Small surface flaws don’t stay small. They turn into full rebuilds.

If you’ve noticed scoring, pitting or early seal failure, don’t wait for the next breakdown.

Send us a message and have your cylinder inspected before the damage spreads.

“It was working fine last week” is something we hear all the time.

And it’s usually true.

Hydraulic failures rarely give dramatic warnings. Wear builds quietly until the system can’t compensate anymore.

That’s why inspection timing matters more than reaction speed.

If you’re relying on performance alone to judge condition, you’re already late.
