One of WA's most capable tube laser set-ups just got bigger!

The new 5-axis tube laser takes CHS up to 355.6mm, SHS to 250, RHS to 300 x 200, and structural sections including PFC to 300, UB to 310 and UC to 250, at up to 130kg/m. Cutting capacity is 30mm mild steel, 20mm stainless and 16mm aluminium.

5-axis means bevels, weld preps, copes and hole patterns come off the machine finished. The fit-up work that usually happens on the floor happens in the program instead, so there's less marking out, less grinding, and fewer tolerances to chase at assembly.

Running alongside our 12kW 6m x 2.5m flat bed and in-house deburring, that covers raw material through to finished part without the job leaving site.

We quote in 24 hours, supply the material, and run around the clock. Send us your drawings and we'll take it from there.

ROX 789D fuel tank, heading to the Pilbara! This one is going to a client who switched from OEM to us.

A few changes we made along the way:

- Improved internal baffle design
- Improved internal stanchion design
- Armiflex protective coating to seal the outer walls against moisture, mud buildup and corrosion
- Adapter plate fitted for their fast fill system, to customer spec

It lands on site ready to go. Chuck the fast fill on, get it on the truck, get the truck back out.

We hold these in stock in Perth and at our Newcastle branch. Turnaround is around three days.

From design, engineering and fabrication, through to the final solution, this project stayed with one team the entire way.

It really is a testament to our team, our skills, our processes, and our passion for what we do, that a project like this can be executed successfully.

INPEX Corporation needed a permanent way to access their Gas Turbine for maintenance, without the cost and safety issues involved with using scaffold. Our team scanned the turbine on site, worked through design and engineering, then fabricated the platform completely in-house before delivering to site.
