Our 10,000-litre BMO (Bushfire Management Overlay) water tank is designed to hold a static water supply dedicated to firefighting.

Building in a bushfire-prone area means your tank and installation must meet specific standards:

Fittings:
Must feature a 65mm nominal bore fitting (VIC standard).Anti-Vortex Plate: Required inside the tank to stop swirling and allow CFA pumps to draw water at maximum volume.

Accessibility:
The tank must be located within 4 meters of a vehicle accessway and 60 meters of your approved building.

Dedicated Water Supply:
The 10,000L required for BMO must be set aside strictly for firefighting.
